Lead Ballast - Rectangular Lead Bricks, Painted Lead Brick and Racing Weights

Lead, in the form of brick, is the most widely used for weight such as ballast, as well as for radiation and x-ray shielding. Lead brick can be obtained in numerous sizes and shapes. A standard size is a 2" thick x 4" wide x 8" long lead brick (same size as a clay brick) which weighs 26.25/lbs. each and is usually in stock. Mayco ships hundreds of thousands of pounds of lead products annually.

Our Lead Bricks are used extensively for ballast as well as for Radiation Shielding. Mayco also supplies specialty lead Castings for Ballast applications. We can supply standard bricks from 26.25 lbs each to large custom cast lead ballast weighing thousands of lbs.

LEAD BRICKS
Interlocking Lead Bricks:  99.5 percent pure virgin lead, free from dross, oxide inclusions, scale, laminations, blisters, and cracks.  Fabricate bricks with tongue and groove sides:

Size:  3/4 inch (19 mm) by 4 inches (102 mm) by 12 inches (305 mm).
Size:  1 inch (25 mm) by 4 inches (102 mm) by 12 inches (305 mm).
Size:  1-1/2 inches (38 mm) by 4 inches (102 mm) by 12 inches (305 mm).
Size:  2 inches (51 mm) by 4 inches (102 mm) by 8 inches (204 mm).
Size:  2 inches (51 mm) by 4 inches (102 mm) by 12 inches (305 mm).
Size:  2-1/2 inches (63.5 mm) by 4 inches (102 mm) by 12 inches (305 mm).
